ALTERCATION DETECTION

Catch an altercation the moment it breaks out

Ulveo watches your existing cameras and flags a physical altercation as it starts — and tracks who's involved — so staff can step in early. No new hardware.

  • Tracks who's involved
  • No facial recognition by default
SEE IT DETECT

See it flag an altercation

Watch the detection label appear the moment contact turns physical.

REAL CAMERA CLIP

A school hallway. Ulveo flags the altercation the moment it breaks out and tracks the people involved.

HOW IT WORKS

From your camera to the right person

No new devices. Ulveo sits on top of the video you already record.

01

Connect your cameras

Point Ulveo at your existing RTSP cameras or NVR. No new devices to install.

02

Watch and detect

Our perception layer tracks people and movement and looks for the pattern of a physical altercation, then flags it on screen.

03

Alert with context

Staff or security are notified through channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, email or Slack — with the camera and the moment attached.

04

Follow throughPREVIEW

Our agent layer investigates whether it's a real altercation, decides who to notify and escalates if nobody acts. It's in development today.

WHERE IT FITS

Anywhere staff need to know early

If a space already has cameras, it can have another layer of safety awareness.

  • Schools & campuses — hallways, entrances and common areas.
  • Hospitality & venues — lobbies, bars and event spaces.
  • Retail & public spaces — stores, malls and transit areas.
  • Healthcare — waiting rooms and staff-safety hotspots.

What this is — and isn't

  • It supports trained staff, security and emergency services. It doesn't replace them.
  • An alert is a prompt for a person to check, not a verdict on what happened or who is at fault.
  • Rough play, sport and crowded contact can look similar to an altercation on camera. The right test is a pilot on your own cameras.
  • By default Ulveo doesn't identify who people are. The clip above is demo footage, and we don't quote accuracy figures from demo clips.
FAQ

Common questions

Does it replace security guards or staff?

No. Ulveo helps staff notice sooner. An alert is a prompt for a person to check the situation — it doesn't replace trained people or emergency services.

Can it tell a real fight from horseplay?

Telling a real altercation from rough play is hard for any camera-based system. Today an alert is a prompt for a person to check. Our agent layer, which is in preview, is being built to add a verification step. A pilot on your own cameras is the honest way to see how it performs in your space.

Does it use facial recognition?

Not by default. Ulveo's core platform processes video for behavior and movement without identifying individuals. An optional identity-matching capability for enrolled, consented people is in development and not generally available.

Do I need new cameras or hardware?

No. Ulveo connects to any RTSP-compatible IP camera or NVR, so it works with the cameras you already have. There's no new hardware to install.

How do I get alerted?

Alerts go to the right person through channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, email or Slack, with the camera and the moment attached. Our agent layer, which is in preview, adds investigation and follow-through — including escalating when nobody responds.

Is the footage on this page real?

The clip is demo footage from a real camera. We don't quote accuracy figures from demo clips.
