Ulveo / Fall Detection

FALL DETECTION

Know when someone falls — on the cameras you already have

Ulveo watches your existing CCTV and flags a fall the moment it happens, telling a genuine fall apart from someone bending down or exercising. No wearables. No badges. No new hardware.

  • No wearables or badges required
  • Tells a fall from bending or crouching
  • Works with existing RTSP cameras & NVRs

Two cameras, one pipeline

The same detection runs on both clips. Watch Ulveo flag the fall as it happens.

REAL CAMERA CLIP

A doorbell camera. Ulveo flags the fall as it happens.

REAL CAMERA CLIP

A home driveway camera. Ulveo flags a fall on an icy surface.

HOW IT WORKS

From your camera to the right person

No new devices. Ulveo sits on top of the video you already record.

01

Connect your cameras

Point Ulveo at your existing RTSP cameras or NVR. Nothing for anyone to wear or carry.

02

Watch and confirm

Our perception layer tracks people and looks for a sudden collapse followed by staying down. A multi-stage check helps separate a real fall from bending down, crouching or exercising.

03

Alert with context

The right person is notified through channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, email or Slack — with the camera and the moment attached.

04

Follow throughPREVIEW

Our agent layer investigates what happened, decides the response and escalates if nobody acts. It's in development today.

WHERE IT FITS

Where a fast response matters most

Any space with cameras already watching can have another layer of awareness.

  • Healthcare & care homes — residents and patients, around the clock.
  • Homes & independent living — hallways, stairs and entrances.
  • Gyms & fitness spaces — floors where slips and collapses can happen.
  • Warehouses, offices & public buildings — large areas where a fall can go unnoticed.

What this is — and isn't

  • It is not a medical alert device or an emergency service, and it doesn't replace caregivers or personal emergency devices.
  • It detects falls that are visible to a camera. Camera angle, distance and obstructions all matter — and cameras don't belong in private areas like bathrooms.
  • Some movements, like sitting down slowly, can look similar to a fall. The right test is a pilot on your own cameras.
  • The clips above are demo footage. We don't quote accuracy figures from demo clips.
FAQ

Common questions

Do people need to wear anything?

No. Fall detection works from your existing camera feeds, so there are no wearables, badges or personal devices to charge, wear or forget.

Can it tell a fall from bending down or exercising?

It's designed to. Ulveo watches for a person collapsing and staying down, and uses a multi-stage check to reduce false alarms from bending, crouching or exercising. Some edge cases, like sitting down slowly, can still look similar — a pilot on your own cameras is the honest way to see how it performs in your space.

How do I get alerted?

Alerts go to the right person through channels such as WhatsApp, SMS, email or Slack, with the camera and the moment attached. Our agent layer, which is in preview, adds investigation and follow-through — including escalating when nobody responds.

Does it replace a medical alert system or emergency services?

No. Ulveo is an extra set of eyes on cameras you already have. It doesn't replace medical alert devices, caregivers or emergency services.

What about privacy?

By default, Ulveo processes video for behavior and movement without identifying individuals. We're developing an optional identity-matching capability for enrolled, consented people only; it's in development and not generally available.

Is the footage on this page real?

The clips are demo footage from real cameras. We don't quote accuracy figures from demo clips.
